Fire & water

Fire and water add movement, sound and a reason to stay outside longer. We integrate gas fire pits, fire tables, pondless waterfalls and basins so clearances, utilities and materials are resolved from the beginning.

01

Custom outdoor fire pits built into the patio

A permanent fire feature should be located for conversation, views and safety. We plan seating distance, wind exposure, overhead clearances and traffic before choosing a round pit, linear table or fireplace concept.

Gas lines and controls are coordinated before hardscape is placed. Stone, caps and pavers can match the larger outdoor room.

02

Pondless waterfalls and backyard water features

A pondless waterfall provides sound and movement while recirculating into a concealed basin. It can fit a slope, soften a retaining wall or create a focal point near a patio without an open pond.

Stone selection, pump access, splash control and water path affect whether the feature looks natural and remains serviceable.

03

Safe utilities and cohesive landscape design

Fire and water touch gas, electric, drainage, masonry and landscape construction. Planning under one contract reduces conflicts and ensures sleeves, shutoffs, pumps and access points are located before finishes conceal them.

The result is a comfortable destination that works with the patio, lighting, planting and circulation.

Frequently asked questions

Planning fire & water in Omaha

Clear answers help you make a better first decision. We’ll address property-specific details during an on-site conversation.

Is a gas fire pit better than wood burning?+

Gas offers quick ignition, less smoke and easy shutdown. Wood provides a traditional flame but requires fuel storage, ash cleanup and attention to smoke and local rules.

Do pondless waterfalls use much water?+

Pondless systems recirculate water. Some is lost to evaporation and splash, so occasional topping off is expected.

Can a fire pit be added to an existing patio?+

Often, but patio layout, combustible clearances, gas routing and base condition must be reviewed first.

How much maintenance does a water feature require?+

Maintenance commonly includes debris removal, water-level checks, pump intake cleaning and winter preparation.
